Need a night out? Then join the friendliest crowd in all of New Orleans at LPK for incredible wood fired pizzas in a restaurant adorned with local art. The presentation of each plate is magnificently done and the ingredients are always fresh, from time-to-time even originating right in Rob Gerhart’s, the owner and head chef’s, own garden. If this weren’t enough to entice you, the staff at LPK, more like a family than co-workers, participates frequently in community events such as the NO/AIDS Walk. So, for both great food and good times, eat-in, order out, or even have LPK cater your next big event.

Does it get better than all day breakfast service and freshly squeezed orange juice? Here at Atlantis Now, we don’t think so. Russell’s is a classic lakefront spot with good service and great food. While the atmosphere does embody Miami in the 1980’s, the waiters are both attentive and friendly and the food is killer. Russell’s is open everyday from 7am until 3pm so go relax in a comfy booth, treat yourself to a Bloody Mary, and get ready for a very happy stomach.

One thing you’ll find out about us is that, here at Atlantis Now, we like to be fair. And to be fair, our first experience at Mediterranean Café was subpar. The prices were reasonable but the portion sizes were way too small for lunch or dinner. We also found the menu wanting and the hookahs in poor condition. While Atlantis Now would rarely tell you to avoid a restaurant at all costs, our first experience at Mediterranean Café just about earned it. Having a bad day, waitress? I’m sorry. Fed up with your waitresses, Mr. manager? That stinks. All this aside, next time remember, don’t take it out on your customers, you may have just been REVIEWED!

Looking for a great po-boy and tantalizing gumbo? Parkview Bakery Tavern has got you covered with all the regulars. The nostalgic surroundings include jerseys, posters, pictures, and other New Orleans memorabilia from the last five or six decades. And, if you need any further convincing, President Obama himself visited this spot last month for a classic shrimp po’boy, some gumbo, and an order of bread pudding. In every way, Parkview Bakery & Tavern is worth a visit!
